Can money buy happiness? This is a very important question that no one cares about because based on what I see in the world around me, most of the people who have money search for happiness and most of the people who have happiness search for money. This is a strange relationship but it is usually true. However, it is always stated that:
“Money can buy happiness, if spent in the right way”. -Mitchell Moffit
In my opinion, poor people pass in certain challenges while rich people pass through different challenges. They both think the challenges are hard but they can overcome by knowing the source. This is the hardest problem, trying to decide what they need to do in their lives. As long as you have a goal that you are trying to achieve and you do it, you are going to have optimism in life. Also why can’t people help each other out? If you are someone who is extremely rich why don’t you try help someone who is poor? You are going to ask what am I going to get in return but that is wrong because you are going to receive a lot in return, even if you are not going to get anything in return you made someone’s life better than before. Studies have shown that if people spend money on others, this act of giving will make them a happier person at the end of the day. For example, if someone sleeps on the street everyday and you offer them not an expensive apartment but a cheap dirty small house, they are going to be as happy as a clam and this is going to make your day!!!
This is the mentality of both poor and rich people, poor things their lives are useless while the rich try to find new ways to improve their lives. People, either rich or poor are scared to lose a dollar from their pocket because poor wouldn’t be able to provide the primary resources of life like shelter, food, etc. and rich would be so afraid that their funds may decrease if they give the poor. Rich people may argue, but that is why there are still homeless people everywhere.
